Wow! What a great place. Just spent 5 nights there and we loved it. The units are top cabin. All close to a pool. They have two. Grounds and well-maintained and just so pretty. Walk to the garden is not far and a good way to get the early morning blood flowing. Staff were all very nice. We had a nice room service. They were great. So many great places in town built out but you also enjoy to eat there fresh food.
Make sure you walk the grounds of as many of the large resorts as you can. Some are really nice, but you have to pay the little more bucks to stay there. We had some really great meals at this big hotel. Want a small and quiet place where you can really relax then, this is the place.
At last it's a great experience there. From my sight, travellers should spent there time here for few days.
I must pay my back for deciding on this place to spend the weekend. The Fort is located just 90 km (max 2 hrs) from Gurgaon which is indeed a grandeur structure backed by excellent hospitality. The food is good, but very expensive. If you are staying in the Fort then its difficult to eat anywhere else given nearby hotels are slightly far from the fort. The place has nice spa to try! Loved the swimming pool, especially the view in the night. One must definitely explore the step well, especially early in the morning, which is half a km walk from the fort. Also, one must definitely try Zipping, which will cost around Rs 1, 400 per person (includes 5 rides). Overall, a very beautiful place (try to do during winters though), excellent service and great stay. Would love to come here again!!
Location : First of all, the location is perfect as it has highway view (deluxe rooms) on one side and greenery on the other (executive rooms). The price difference between the rooms is only because of the view, rooms are exactly the same.
Appearance : The hotel looks outdated from the exterior as the boards seem to be torn off by some storm.
Front office : The reception is nicely made and spacious as it might often face group check ins at single point of time. Also, the staff was really polite at handling the check in (Ms. Fair lady, don't remember her name) as well as the check-out (Ms. Rubina). Ms. Indu from reservations team was kind enough to upgrade us to a deluxe room as it was an occasion.
Service : the service is slow as compared to other Ramada hotels I have stayed at. They take a while in sending across anything to the room. But the staff talks very kindly when you call them and even are very courteous.
Room : Once you enter the room, everything is 5 star standard. The room has nice spread area with a nice sofa chair and glass table. One business work table and numerous lights. Bathroom that was really tidy and clean with a bath tub installed (though it's small in size to fit in) and the best was the phone installed in the room with dedicated keys to press and call any particular department.
Food & drink : the day was going pretty nice here at Ramada but it was just time for it to be messed up with the bad tasting food, buffet charges were 650 per person in which they had lame normal salad. one ceasar salad which had a tingly taste, some raw corn peas & beans mix (don't taste it, so won't say anything). dull soups, one gravy chicken item, one fish gravy item, noodles, one veg cheese item, one veg lasagna, one dal makhani, rice and roti. Nothing else! I mean, I you can charge me an extra 200 or 300 bucks as buffet charges, but atleast give me options?
Once you are done with dinner, they have Dal Halwa (saved my taste buds from giving up) and some shitty whipped cream dessert (its the worst thing I have ever tasted in my life. Try to believe me. What I had was only butter chicken with roti. Besides dal makhani was average. Not to mention, I was prepared to eat at a 4 star, not any normal restaurant. Because of such food, I did not take any breakfast from the buffet the next day.
Activities : The evening had a band playing at the poolside area where they had a nice dinner setup at a charge of 1500 for a couple. They served really nice sula champagne, along with a strawberry cheese cake.
The same was also there at the buffet area, so nothing specially done for those who paid for it. Not fair! Have attached the pic of the cake. The buffet was charged separately anyway. The band was playing anyway, so can't even say that the charge included the band playing specially for few people.
Facilities : they have all the facilities I believe.
Value for money : The hotel is worth its price. However, you can bring in your own food even if it is expensive than the hotel.
I do not know what went wrong but I am likely to visit the place again because of it's level of security and comfort while you stay here.
Also, the behaviour of the hotel staff is appreciated as they are kind enough to resolve the issues for you, unlike many places where the staff behaves very rudely.
The hotel has a pool on second floor which is actually pretty amazing to enjoy.
We were 4 people in 1 very large room with a bathroom twice larger than normal with skylight, had no TV, had two air conditioning more fans, had living room with 2 couches body 1 and the other two bodies with table Central, a desk, 2 nightstands next to the single bed, wardrobe and 2 chests for storage, also has an extra king size bed where we were getting comfortably 3 adults with several tables support for coffee, refrigerator sector. He has a blacon in L where private sector can watch the sunset over 4 very comfortable chairs and tables support, part of the access to the room is private and closed with a gate gate overlooking the open area of tables and chairs night and adult pool.
Parvat Mahal is the best family room for a couple with 2 teenagers. Then enjoyed zipping or zip across the air at 1750 rupees per person, very large and with warm water pool and overlooking the village of Neemrana down the Fort, we were there to watch the sunset.
Continental breakfast is varied and tasty spicy can be ordered without the omelette etc, should take extra food and drink when you go with children because there is nothing close to shopping. We went on Holi, everything was closed.
