- Good housekeeping service & nice resort to stay

The ambience you can not imagine, you go and feel it. The staff are very understanding. We stayed in a Jacuzzi suite, with three time meal plan. The suite look like a luxury apartment. Do not expect the climate too chill, normal weather only. The food is awesome. The housekeeping service is very good, they were willing to clean the room any time. The swimming pool is very attractive. Everyone must stay at least one day in life time. Note this Jacuzzi Suit is very good not the Jacuzzi, because it did not give any pressure while taking Bath but expensive Important and unforgettable scenery, a small waterfall is very near to the restaurant. We can hear the sound of the waterfall all the time. If you are young couple choose the down side room. If you are above 45 years then go for the Jacuzzi suite. It is near to all (restaurant, swimming pool, massage center and parking). There is very spice garden visit and trekking also If you take room a down side of the resort, you can see bison and wild elephants in the night. Do not try to come out, it may attack you but I heard the elephant sound. Do not forget to visit the nearby waterfall. Take your towel and shorts and have fun freshwater Bath but take extra double care when you are going to the waterfall area, the path is very rough and slippery Try to go around the resort area, you will feel you are in wild forest. In the evening they will provide tea/coffee with cookies in lawn pool area. After 7 pm there will be campfire with party games. During the dinner time light music will be played in alternative days, if you want you can sing with background music. One good thing here is no Mobile network. So no one will disturb you. You forget your outside headaches and tortures but free WiFi is available throughout the day. Enjoyed with friends.

If required they arrange a vehicle for sightseeing places. The room tariff was around Rs. 2300 per day and room was spacious with ejection interior, neat and well maintained with good working basic amenities and there were mountain and forest view from the room. There was parking space facility and hotel appearance was excellent and the interior was well decorated. They provided veg, non-veg food with more varieties, the quality and taste of the food was very delicious and filling. There was maintained swimming pool and indoor games and there was no problem at check-in and check-out. Staff were good, polite, friendly and very caring and very attentive. I stayed here for two nights and three days with family for relaxation. It's worth to pay for this hotel room cost; it is recommendable to other travellers.

We had booked a cottage, but since we were honeymooners, they gave us an upgrade to the riverside suite. It was a bungalow to ourselves overlooking the stream. All we could hear was the sound of the gurgling water and birds chirping. They had a games room, which had pool, table tennis, and caroms and was well-furnished, we never found anything missing. The buffet meals had an eclectic range of main course, salads, and desserts. They had activities everyday which you could attend at your wish and fancy. One of the nights they had a live band playing and we had people go up and sing for their loved ones and the shy lot dedicate numbers To complete our week stay there, we had a tree top dining experience, where the chef dished out his culinary genius to us exclusively. They have a lovely pool too and a chai hut just nearby to go and have a sip of a hot beverage with bhajji as after a good swim. Very friendly staff who were prompt to help. I had a craving for jackfruit and my husband asked the chef who made arrangements for us to buy it They have WiFi in the reception area, which allows us to focus on family when we are there and only go for urgent emails to the reception. They also have a set of movies we can borrow The only disadvantage was that the bungalow was way below the level of the restaurant. But we could always order food in. For older folk and people with weak knees it might be a challenge. So, check out the room location when you book your accommodation, based on these requirements. However, a they told me they are soon getting golf carts (or something like that) to transport people. Having said that, we didn't mind the little exercise after having all those sumptuous meals.
- Unforgettable stay experience for the good reasons

We decided to take time off and spend a family holiday in and around Ooty and found Kurumba Village Resort in Coonoor as a perfect location to relax and rejuvenate. The resort is located in a forest with rooms at different levels. Some rooms provide you an opportunity to walk (I mean trek) to reach either reception or restaurant or poolside area unless the visitor has difficulty in walking, these rooms are having excellent view of forest and stream. Restaurant serves both vegetarian and non-vegetarian varieties of food. Food is tasty and the Chef and his team are very helpful, and seek our preferences and likes/dis-likes and arranges our choice of dishes. This gesture is applaudable as they genuinely do not like you stay hungry. Housekeeping service is also top class. During our stay we observed that the Resort management is laying cement tracks to each and every room to run battery cars from reception to various rooms Overall, we enjoyed our stay relaxing, enjoying nature, undisturbed except for the sounds of birds and sometimes monkeys We recommend this resort for nature lovers who just wish to relax and live with family. Remember, you may not get disturbed here with constant ringing of your Mobile - no signals except for BSNL service. We plan to stay in this resort at least for 2-3 nights every year.
- Clean resort, spacious room with wooden balcony

It was holiday time for kids; we wanted a place which was low on noise pollution quite, not crowded, clean and good resort where the family could spend some quality time talking to each other and do some walking in the woods and some games. After a good search and based on reviews we settled in for Kurumba Village. We got good support from the front desk in arriving from Ooty to the resort. Once we were in we were thrilled to see that the resort was at the bottom of the valley, with a water stream flowing behind. The rooms were quite spacious and with a wooden balcony giving amazing tranquil time. There was a TV with cable however we never got to use it. A fruit bowl was set in the room with some rare fruits along with oranges and bananas. The Bath was good sized with a window side Bath tub great view while bathing. The Property has a wonderful open air restaurant, where we spent at least three hours a day. There was a breathtaking swimming pool at the bottom of the valley with hills on all sides and amazing experience. After good hours of swimming, tea and bhajji or pakora was served hot near the pool. There was a games room with board games, medium sized pool table and table tennis. The toddlers have a separate section for playing games. The food was managed by a chef and his team very flexible and very good; you can talk to them before the meal for any of your requirements or wishes for the meal or dinner. The staff arranges walking trips inside the plantation, some mornings you can get into the adjoining forest with the support of a security from the resort. You get to know a few spices, see a few wild monkeys and if you were lucky like us, will see an elephant. You don't need it in the room but for when you walk in the woods. There was not much of a Mobile signal inside the resort so make sure you want to give the landline number of the front office to your near ones. It was a very good time with nature, well mannered and kind staff, good property and looking forward to visiting again.
