  • Hotel providing delicious food in Coorgi style
    • My experience in the hotel club Mahindra in Coorg is awesome and stayed there for three days. I did not face any difficulty in reaching the hotel, since vehicle facility was organised. The Bus Stand is away from the hotel. The internal and external appearance of the hotel is excellent in traditional style. The staffs were cooperative in their quick service. There was no problem in check-in and check-out process. The room provided was spacious neat and well maintained with amenities in working condition. There was a superb natural view from the room. The rooms used to clean regularly and hot water facility was available. I ate food in the hotel, which was delicious in Coorg style, which was reasonable in cost as well. The hotel had activities like swimming pool and children games. There is no suggestion to improve the hotel. I recommend many of my friends to stay there and the destination coorg is awesome.
  • I stayed for 3 days...
    • I stayed for 3 days at the Bethel home stay with my extended family. We were a total 23 people. The group ranged from age 7 to 78 and there was something for everyone. The stay was really nice and so was the staff, in the end I was almost sorry to leave.

    Upon arriving I found myself in a valley of Bramahagiri with very scenic views, and a lovely monsoon kept playing hide and seek with us for whole 3 days. The kids in our group enjoyed the food, weather, and the nature. They could always be found on the macchan looking for better views and they even built their own dam at a nearby stream.

    The owner of the property, Mr. Rakesh is a very friendly and customer centric person. He was very caring towards kids and took every opportunity to guide them & teach them about nature. He personally accompanied us on our trekking and rafting activities which was too generous.

    The rooms (Bamboo Cottages) were clean and spacious. The bathroom was also spacious and very clean. I stayed in the tree house with my wife and couldn’t contain my surprise when I saw an attached western toilet in the tree house.

    The food was lovely, very rich and tasty breakfast, I loved scrambled mushroom omelette. The sweet dishes after dinner were also fantastic. Since I was on trekking/rafting holiday I had planned on losing some weight, but with each dinner I’m sure I did quite the opposite.

    I have been visiting Coorg from the past 12 years and stayed at almost all kind of properties. This, by far was my best experience.

    My hearty congratulations to the management for their choice of personnel. They know how to really make you feel at home, and if you need anything it is like asking a family member. Way to go, guys, you were fantastic.

  • Great food and service
    • In an idyllic location like Madikeri, a cosy bungalow set in a vast coffee plantation, surrounded by colourful landscaping and you are taken care of by the hosts Mr. & Mrs. Nanaiah, as if you are part of the family, what else can you ask for ? The warmth of the hosts clearly translated into absolute comfort for us. The lady of the house, Mrs. Bollu Nanaiah, is a great cook and her passion for cooking ensured that all of us returned home healthier( heavier ). We stayed there for only 3 nights, but when we left from there, it was with heavy hearts. And we noticed that Mrs. Bollu's eyes were moist when she was bidding us farewell. This is the ultimate HOMESTAY as a homestay should be. We are DEFINITELY going back to this wonderful HOME AWAY FROM HOME.

    Best Experience: The first day we were supposed to reach the place by evening and had asked for dinner at night. But as things turned out, we reached there almost at midnight. And there they were, Mr. & Mrs. Nanaiah, in the chilling cold, welcoming us smilingly. And even at that time of the night, we were served with warm and tasty food by Mrs. Bollu and we could sense the warmth of the host in the food. It wa terrific.

    Worst Experience: All in all, it was a great stay for us with ALL PLUSES and NO MINUSES.
  • Awesome resort filled with good activities
    • The resort is awesome big with full of greenery. They have awesome facilities provided to the guests... carom, table tennis, badminton, volleyball, swimming pool, nature walk, magician, holiday planning, tours. They give a session on Coorg called as "Discover Coorg", which provided decent information about Coorg's geography, history, local cuisine, and sightseeing. Rooms were great as well green views from the rooms and service was great. They even provided Coorg dresses to dress up and photograph. Food is good, but a bit expensive on the resort. But being 5kms from Madikeri, you can always go there for relishing on local cuisines. We reached about 11pm on Thursday and were going to check-out at 8am on Sunday. We did some sightseeing on Friday, but decided to spent Saturday on resort and enjoy its facilities, rather than going out to see the remaining sightseeing as the resort has so much to offer! Enjoyed it truly..! I hope other Club Mahindra Resorts live to the expectations now!
  • Wonderful Experience, food was bit expensive
    • The overall experience was terrific. Completely forgot about the outside world and enjoyed the blissful stay. Excellently located a bit outside the commotion of a regular hill station town. Very courteous and friendly staff. Entertainment in the evening in an arena. Food was a bit expensive and slightly above average, nothing great. Room service was excellent and overall great views from the room. Would totally recommend this.
