There was no delay in check-in and check-out. The complimentary breakfast was provided by the hotel. The allotted room was spacious with clean. The WiFi facility was not provided by the hotel. The variety of food was available in the hotel. I had visited this hotel for relaxation purpose with my wife. I would recommend this hotel for upcoming travellers.

We were planning to visit Coorg since June and were checking out our options for stay. Finally we contacted M/S Princy Holidays Bangalore for options and decided to choose Procupine Castle Resort, Polibetta which is about 40 km from Madikeri. The idea was to have a relaxed stay and go for sightseeing We left Bangalore at 6. 30 am by car for the resort but on the way decided to visit Ranganathaswamy temple at Srirangapatana and Iruppu falls. We reached the resort around 4 pm We were really happy when we reached the resort and saw the beautiful view surrounding the place. Since we had planned to stay for two nights we decided to stay in the tree house for the night and to stay in mountain view room, the next day The stay in tree house was a unique experience and the view through the window was awesome. The cool weather, lush green surroundings and chirping of birds made the long drive worthwhile. The tree house had all amenities with cane furniture making it look ethnic. Clean bed, a spacious bathroom with hot shower, the comfort of coffee maker made our stay comfortable The next day we moved into the mountain view room which was more spacious and comfortable sit out where from we could enjoy the view of mountains and the valley The resort is on top of a 300 acre plantation and the location is calm, serene and tranquil. We found this perfect getaway from pollution and free from noises of city The staff were very friendly, specially Mr. Sebastian who helped us to check-in and Mr. Lohit who helped us to walk around the resort facility. The food quality was very good and service excellent. The resort has a swimming pool and a children play area where trampoline, swing etc. Are there to keep the children happy. The resort does not have a bar which is the only negative thing for me to say Porcupine castle is ideal for a leisure holiday and I have no hesitation in suggesting choosing this place instead of Madikeri though it involves covering little more distance for sightseeing.

My first experience to Coorg was okay. We went on the first week of may and it was very crowded. But the lotus the cottage made our trip memorable. The owners of the cottage took real care and made our trip enjoyable. The rooms are comfortable with clean toilets and rooms. The food was very nice specially non veg. We were 24 of us and we got very tasty and hot food. Only thing you need to have your own transportation. The location is very nice away from the crowded main road or market area. I want to thank the owners for their hospitality.

I am writing this review of ?The Porcupine Castle resort? at Coorg after our 4 days (6th to 9th Sep 2011) stay in his resort. After being in the crowded city of Bangalore, we wanted to take a break from the usual routine and be in a place that was peaceful, relaxing and a god place for the entire family. Our travel agent booked us at the Porcupine castle resort. We had visited their site and we found it to be good and hence decided to go with our travel agent?s choice. From the minute we reached this resort, we felt we were in a completely different world. The resort is quite new (has been functioning only for the last 2 years) and believe me this place is breathtaking. We were welcomed by very friendly people from the resort. The booking was done perfectly and the room was ready when we landed there. We really loved the location of this resort at Pollibetta. Absolutely silent and you see greenery all around. The rooms are very neat and the food was awesome. I would say this is a fantastic place for the entire family, for couples and also for a group of friends. The resort is well located and most of the important places in Coorg are easily accessible by road from this resort. The biggest plus point are the people who maintain this resort. Starting from their Director (Brijesh), the resort managers (Vivin and Jobish) and all the staff of this resort are so friendly and make you feel so comfortable. They have stuff for the kids as well like some indoor games and the camp fire during late evening was too good. One thing I would advise all tourists who go to this resort is to take the planation tour. Brijesh (the Director of this resort) took us in his jeep and this 120 minute ride was just out of the world. This gentleman has so much of information and knowledge about the coffee plantation that you really pray that this ride should not end soon. We enjoyed every second of this 120 minute tour. Hats off to Brijesh and his team for providing us such a wonderful holiday. We promised them that we will come back soon and my children have already started planning for their next trip to the same resort. Pack your bags and go to the Porcupine Castle.

My husband & I visited this place to have our personal time :) . . When we went, climate was cold & I wouldn't have gone to pool at all. However, pool was under renovation/repair. Its okay with me. Still pool location was superb We felt that, it was very clam place & relaxing place. The best part of this hotel is customer service. We were amazed by the service. They are so good that, they could accommodate our request. If you want some things to be customise, they will just manage. Our first breakfast had only 2 items. It was promised more. When we just mentioned to the booking people, they really responded in very nice way & got good items for next day. They came back to us ask for what we need & prepare accordingly. Just mind blowing people they are. If you as k that, given a chance, Will I really visit the place again. I think Yes because of there service towards customer. Only few things can be improved - For vegetarians, we could not get tandoor Roti & few items specified in the menu. I am not sure why. But yes. We were bit disappointed after 1 or 2 days. Because we could hardly choose from menu. I would not forget to mention this - Superb, Amazing starters in the lunch & dinner. All the items were very good & tasty. Only the thing is less items to order. I can not order same things for both lunch & dinner.
