I had finalised this hotel through stayzilla and booked it over telephone as online booking option wasn't working. I had booked for 03 beds room as I was visiting with my family. The period of stay was from the evening of 14. 09. 16 till 11:00 on 16. 16. On reaching the hotel, I was given a room on the first floor. Within 30 minutes, we could hear demolishing noises of breaking, drilling right above our head. After patiently waiting for 2 hours, hoping it would reduce, went to the front desk and complained about the noise. THE FRONT DESK WAS VERY RUDE AND BRASH about the entire affair and I was told there is construction work going on in the ground floor and all 03 beds room are in the same line. The staff wasn't even addressing us as he was Reading paper, I noticed the CERTIFICATE OF HOLIDAYIQ awarding them the BEST HOTEL 2016 as well as certificate from stayzilla. Once I informed them that I am filing a complaint with both the websites, there was immediate change in their attitude. They were sorry and said that there will not be any further disturbance. The TRAY KEPT IN THE ROOM WAS VERY DIRTY. Not cleaned even after 02 days. When asked for room slippers, they said for 03 members, how many do you need and was offered one set at the end. The work continued to go on. But another incident to make us or anybody furious was AT AROUND 10:30 P. M ., THE CONSTRUCTION WORK STARTED AGAIN WITH DRILLING AND LOUD BREAKING NOISES. After half an hour, we called up for the frontdesk and had to fire them post which they stopped the work. The final horrible thing was we had ordered for breakfast on 16. 16 - aalu parota and dosas. The AALU PAROTA HAD WORMS and I JUST WRAPPED AND DROPPED IN THE WASTE CAN. When I mentioned this to the staff, they offered to compensate it as complimentary breakfast and also reduced 10% of our total bill, when we were specifically told that there is no complimentary breakfast and there is no discount for the package we had booked. My only regret is that I didn't take photographs of the food, tray and the room as well as the staff who were rude and horrible to us. I really wonder how HolidayIQ can award best Hotel 2016 certificate to such a hotel. I wish my parents and I had a better and comfortable stay in Dwarka.
I along with my family (wife and kid) and parents visited Dwarka on a religious trip to have darshan of Dwarkadhish and Nageshwara temples. The hotel was booked online by me and the deluxe rooms were big enough to accommodate an extra bed for the kid. Location wise, it is at approximately 300-400 meters away from the Dwarkadhish temple which makes it a good choice if one is visiting Dwarka for this purpose.
It had it's own restaurant which had all the choices of food available on demand. Taste was good but not excellent. Service was good and staff were available to attend to your problems if any. Wi-Fi was freely available but at a little slow speed. Overall, it was a nice stay of two nights with no confusion, dispute or conflict. Vehicles were arranged by the hotel on demand at reasonable charges for local travel.
This hotel deserves nothing less than five stars !! Everything about this hotel was simply amazing. We stayed in this hotel on 14th July, 2016. Right from the entry till we left, I found everything charming and pleasant about this hotel. We reached this hotel at 10. 30 am and the first person we noticed was a smiling lady called Ms. Jalpa. She allotted us a room in less than 5 minutes though the official check-in time was 12 noon. This helped us get fresh in the room and have an absolutely blissful darshan of Dwarkadheesh by 12. 00 noon when there was absolutely no rush. She was extremely warm with the reception. The room was big. Even with an extra bed, we had sufficient place for dressing up and moving around. The A/C worked absolutely fine and the bathroom was clean too. The staff delivered towels, napkins, etc within 2 minutes of asking. The room boys were also very warm and helpful. The hotel has a big restaurant which serves tasty food with quick service. The breakfast was included where we could chose between puri-sabzi and aloo parotha. We opted for the former and it was delicious. The check-out was absolutely hassle free and Im absolutely certain that if I ever visit Dwarka again, I will look no place else. I will stay at this hotel without a doubt. Again, a special mention to Ms. Who is very warm and helpful. Thank you team Rudra Plaza!
Nice hotel with good location and excellent rooms!
We stayed at this hotel during our family trip to Dwarka and had booked deluxe suits. The rooms were very spacious and were adequately furnished. The bathrooms were clean, but we had to wait for quite some time to get hot water. The hotel staff will clean the rooms daily and were always available when needed. Overall the staffs was very helpful and courteous. The food however was average. The location is very good as it takes only few minutes to walk to the Dwarkadhish temple and the road is dotted with a number of shops which sell good souvenirs. There are a number of restaurants as well along that road, we had our meals at "Govinda" restaurant and it was fantastic, the food was excellent and the ambience was very pleasant. The hotel is also very near to the municipality office from where the local buses and autos can be booked or hired. Staying at the hotel was a good experience.
My Journey started from Ahmedabad airport to a long drive of ~450 km to Dwarka. Thanks to Modiji, 80% roads of Gujarat roads are 4 lanes for smooth ride with many eat outs on the way. "Honest" name will be familiar after you complete your entire tour. (Use AC restaurants to fill your appetite with usable nature call service). Outside ones are very dirty. The ride was quite long passing Rajkot/Jamnagar and takes 9-10 hr with frequent breaks. This place comes 10 km before Dwarka city and is stand alone on the main highway. Rooms are comfortable but some basic 3 star facility inside the room is missing (Tea/Coffee maker, etc).
Activities: Swimming pool, indoor games, fitness club available provided time permits.
Has restaurant which serves good food. Breakfast was a little dull as not much choice. Rooms facing the road are better in old block. New block both sides are ok.
Main Attraction: Dwarkadheesh Temple, Rukmani Temple, Bet Dwarka, SunSet Point - Total 4-5 hrs.
Tips: Take a guide (panda) inside the temple at Rs 100/- (necessary to re-collect the history) / privileged darshan from side at the right time, witness the opening of darpan/curtain after some break while darshan closes. The bright light which reflects the moment the curtain is raised gives real peace.
They will not force but convince you to share some amount for Dan-Dakshina as entire Dwarka Temple members depends on it. (It's Good to do that).
Overall good religious place with not much crowd jostling / pushing. Kept clean.
