The hotel is located in Marayoor a small town and 40 kms away from Munnar. The rooms are very big with 24hr running hot water facility. The room includes a huge double cot, a dinning table, sitout and attached bathroom. When people visit Munnar in a off season they can take accommodation in this hotel on a reasonable tarrif (they give good discount).
Best Experience: The size of the room is really very big when you compare other hotels in munnar based on the tarrif. 24hr running hot water facility is really a highlight of this hotel.
Worst Experience: We stayed in this hotel on 1st December, since this is not the season time they were not more than 10 people staying at that time, the food provided by the hotel restaurant was horrible, room service was also not up to the mark.
I had stayed for one day really it was two days we yielded one days rent. No tea or espresso or even water. Staff was haughty ( he said convey your own gear, this lodging neither has an eatery nor even game plan of tea. To have a tea walk around, market is required, this not railroad stage to get a doorman). Why individuals recommend this for stay as it is 45 km away and took very nearly 2 hour from Munnar. Preferred to stay in wilderness over in this Hotel.
Hotel stay was Good. Hotel is very Clean and Good for Family. Its around 40 Kms from Munnar and will take around 2 hours to go to Munnar . . Food was okay but under staff. Make sure if you are travelling via Chinnar Wild Life Sanctuary you travel in day light as there are lot of Elephants in the night which might cross the road and dangerous. So its advisable to travel and reach destination during day light.
