Clean and warm hotel with everyone welcoming from our check-in to check-out. We checked in late on night and checked out by eleven in the morning, the travel desk was also cooperative and quick to respond.
This option is good as there was difference in price between budget as business trip.
We ordered room service as checked in late in the evening, it was not a good option as ordered some soup, salad and tandoori option, I would suggest to stick to Indian cuisine as it might be better option.
Breakfast buffet was huge and there was live waffle, egg and dosa options, they made and served the same well, very attentive team at the buffet. A thumbs up to breakfast.
Access to the hotel is complicated though not too sure as not from the city but it took us good 20 to 25 minutes to locate the hotel, as it was dark probably took extra time on account of the same.
Value for money and I will say it is good hotel to stay. The hotel is little out of the way, however the room was decent, neat and clean, though the air conditioning is a big issue outside the room.
The lobby and the area out side the rooms specially the corridors have a problem with air conditioning. Food served is decent at the restaurant. The staff is helpful and quite cordial
We stayed at this spot for three evenings. Lodging was perfect in general. The minute you enter gathering zone, it gives a positive sentiment and certainty that you have picked a pleasant spot to sit tight. Registration was speedy and individuals were friendly. We stayed in the Superior Room, which is the best sort room accessible with them. Bed was sufficiently expansive to rest 2 grown-ups and 2 children. It was similar to two ruler beds joined together.
We were disillusioned to see, which was exceptionally filthy. We asked the gathering, and they sent somebody to clean it. Inn did not change the room in spite of solicitation referring to non-accessibility. On-line reservations were accessible for same day however. Lighting was poor in washroom and particularly in the dressing range.
Bed was expansive in any case, exceptionally standard. Resting solace you anticipate from such a costly inn, was absolutely absent. Cushions were entirely conventional also. Bed-rest was made of material, which was grimy and not giving a nice sentiment.
View from the room was of inside patio nursery, which was pleasantly kept up.
Break-quick was above-normal and had an OK assortment. On the other hand, supper was exceptionally customary in taste.
Room gives feeling that inn was not ready to spend enough to keep up the great rich feeling and things are decaying. This is not all that adequate in an INR 8000+ room (counting duties yet with no nourishment).
They have a little, however indoor swimming pool, which our children delighted in. Not very incredible for little children with no swimming background. It has a uniform profundity of 4+ feet. Changing rooms are not incredible and shower not living up to expectations.
Products: Hotel cleanliness, incredible perspectives from eating range. Inside warmed swimming pool.
Bads: Room cleanliness, over value, general accommodation.
Best Experience: Dining Area, Surroundings
Most exceedingly terrible experience: Room toilets, dull dressing territory, not all that inviting housekeeping.
I have stayed in OYO room (formerly known as Hotel Woodland) for 3 nights in August recently. It has recently been renamed as OYO hotel, so if you are taking an auto ride our cab, tell the driver to go to Hotel Woodland instead of OYO rooms because that's what they call it there.
I was given the room on first floor which was decent for a couple to stay, however the bathroom was cramped up. Room was comfortably furnished but do not have electric kettle and complimentary water and/or tea/coffee. Room service is not good, service takes as long as 15-30 mins for as small order as a tea. Sometimes the call gets connected to reception as the housekeeping extension gets forwarded their, but then this is problem with most of the hotels in Nagpur, so no qualms about that. Housekeeping is pathetic, towels are mostly torn up and unless you specifically instruct at the reception, they won't clean up the room. Toiletries are shower gel, shampoo and moisturiser only, hence carry your own!!
The best thing about the hotel is the location, 20 mtrs off CA Road. If you are fond of non-veg food, you must visit Mominpura (MLC canteen) not all the dishes are good but, you can try keema, paaya or roasted chicken).
First morning of my stay, I was served with ONLY aloo parathas with curd in the name of complimentary breakfast but, I presume that the kitchen staff didn't turn up that day due to heavy rain. The next day it was slightly OK and since the chef was in, they were kind enough to serve me omlette upon request.
In-spite of a good brand, the hotel still lacks complete service. The WiFi (supposedly complimentary) was routed to us via separate WiFi router on each floor which is visible in the floor's lobby shabbily mounted bang on the wall and the worst part, it just doesn't work, no speed, seldom connected mostly down.
If I had paid the full room tariff, I would have been yelling left and right on the staff most of the times but, for this one time I thought of letting go.
The manager (or perhaps the owner) was friendly in my brief conversation with him and maybe the hotel was re-named recently, the staff was still getting accustomized with the various changes.
From the quality of hotels available in Nagpur, this one is still much better (as it is renovated recently) and the location is favourable if you are travelling for business (CA Road is the main business centre).
Me and my colleague stayed here for 2 days as we were in city for a company work. I would say it was a wonderful experience to stay at Hotel Nagpur Ashok. One of my friend recommended me this hotel and it turned out as per my expectations. Wonderful location and ambiance of hotel. Pick-up and drop to Airport facility is very handy.
The services of staff and management was very good. Staff people were very kind and helpful. I was also guided by management to reach my destination. Also, they booked a taxi for us. Management was very well-trained.
We had an excellent room to stay. View from the room was awesome. River is near to the hotel. Rooms were neat and clean. Housekeeping was quick. Food was also good at hotel. They also have cafe coffee day at ground floor.
The ambiance of the Hotel is adorable and it is on main road centrally located, near to airport and Railway. I visited Nagpur on Business Trip. It's my choice to stay no where but Tuli Imperial.
The amenities in the room are classical and has a fetch like a Prince Stay/ Queen size Bed neat and clean, lightings are pleasant with addendum of light coloured curtains. The Bathroom has ample space with Bathtub, separator for shower bath and distinct lavatory absolute clean and well-ventilated. The LCD TV is quite Big and almost all channels are available.
The hotel has Gym, appreciable. The best thing is to welcome guest with lot of courtesy and with welcome drink, complimentary Fruits, Cookies and Bislery Water. The room is equipped with Tea maker coupled with all ingredients of TEA/COFFEE ETC.
Complimentary Morning Breakfast is one of the excellent services. The Breakfast includes Veg and Non-Veg with multi cuisine. One is tempted to taste the Bakery items of TULI IMPERIAL.
Entire hotel looks like a palace and it gives the feel of royality.
The only thing which I don't like is windows can't be opened as it gives view of Busy Road.
