The hotel is located on the mall road and have awesome view from rooms. We stayed here for two nights. Nice clean rooms and room service was good. The staff was very co-operative and helpful. Breakfast was just okay. Average food and its up to your choice and taste.
Overall it was a good experience and will recommend this hotel. It is a great place to stay with family, the food is great and has a nice variety. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Location of the resort is at a beautiful spot. It faces the Naini lake and looks beautiful both during day and night.
This is very nice property in Nainital. Amazing view of Naini lake from the Hotel. All staff are very supportive and always ready to assist you. Rooms, Food & Service is really appreciable. Thank you team Naini Retreat for making our tour so special.
It is a very good hotel to stay at. The best thing about this hotel is it's service. Very good staff, always ready to help you. The owner is also very kind. The stay in this hotel made my trip to Nanital more memorable.
I visited there with my family in June 2012. Hotel location was not very convenient to reach there. It was little interior. Look of the hotel was good from inside and outside. Staff people were okay there but services were not good in this hotel. They were not quick in their services. Check-in and check-out was not done immediately. Room was neat and clean. All facilities like AC, TV, geyser, room heater, etc. were available in the room. TV remote was not working properly. Bed sheets, pillows, blankets, and washroom were neat and clean. Mountains view was available from the room. Food was so-so, not that great. Veg, non-veg, and buffet system were available there. Nothing was complimentary there. Quality of food was not that much good. Room tariff was little costly. No activity was there. Vehicle was taken by me from the hotel side for outing. It was not fully value for money. It was so-so. I will not recommend this hotel to other travellers. I have no suggestion about the hotel because nothing was better there. Nainital is a very good place. Location of the hotel was also very good. Appearance wise, it was good. Staff behaviour and their services were average. Room was also average. Food and drink was below average. Activities were average.
We planned to visit Nainital on October 2015 and were searching for decent hotel as we were a couple travelling to Nainital for first time. As it was dussera weekend there was rush of tourists and hotels were filling fast. We booked Pavilion viewing the pictures and feedback on internet. In reality the hotel is not as vast or so neat as it seems in pictures.
Pavilion hotel is located around 1 Km away from mall road, so location is almost walk-able but some will find far considering while coming back its uphill. Staff is decent, and outside look is also fair. Rooms are bad, small and the furniture was downright cheap. If you are looking for luxurious cosy room then this might not suit you. The linen & bedsheets seemed unchanged and dirty. The outside noise seeps in the room easily. However the basic things like intercom & hot water is OK. I find it overpriced compared to what the hotel offers, it is in no way premium and most suited as a decent budget hotel.
I generally do not spend this kind of money on a hotel and lucky for me someone else was paying- but I see why they charge it. The front desk staff and manager were amazing and greeted us by name each day (Ms. X, no first names here!) and were incredibly helpful in suggestions of where to go or directions for our plans. The service was truly impeccable- and they will offer you a water (do you prefer chilled or room temperature) every time you walk in and out.
The rooms are gorgeous and the bath products are too die for- especially the honey scrub. In addition, when you enter your room at night, there is a scented humidifier going, cookies with a local tribes legend sitting by your bed next to ANOTHER bottle of water, and your slippers laid out on a cloth so that your feet never need touch the rug as classic music lightly plays.
No other hotel will ever make me feel that spoiled while also feeling that comfortable. The only downside is that there is no gym or spa, but they do have reciprocity at another hotel nearby. We would definitely stay there again! There were so many special details that this hotel and their staff implemented. We enjoyed the turn-down service with thoughtful touches, and the consistent display of delicious cookies, coffee and tea in the morning and warm apple cider at night. The in-room fireplaces were another luxury that we all quite enjoyed, as well as the beautiful bathrooms and comfy beds.
At the end I would like to say that this hotel is must visit for everyone.
It's my 1st visit with my wife for Nainital. We were planning for lake visit. We were happy and excited for this trip. I read reviews of this hotel and choose this. My visit plan was last week of Dec 2015.
I reached Nainital and was waiting for hotel cab. I was upset when I saw the cab. It was marshal car and all parts or car was dancing. It was my 1st and worst experience but I was thinking that the hotel location and room was good. So I sat in the car and moved to the hotel. The hotel was situated on top. You cannot go to hotel on foot. I think that's why hotel provides pickup & drop facility from a particular point. So when I reached the hotel and saw the building, again I was upset but I was waiting for the room. And when I was entered in the room I have no words to describe.
It was so cool, dirty bed, and the bathroom was so dirty. When I ordered water to drink, they came with chilled water. It's common sense if anyone demand for water in winter, the water should be drinkable. But everything about this hotel is worst except the room service. If you call them they will be available. Except this, everything of hotel like location, room, tea and main thing the pickup & drop guy he is a cheater.
I suggest travellers don't choose this hotel when you go with parents, your wife and children. If you don't have any option then choose this and don't contact with pickup and drop guy. He will definitely cheat you.
About Nainital - It's a good place to go but I think the main thing to do is boating. And every points of hill station are the same.
