During our stay hotel staff were very courteous, polite, professional and very cooperative and good housekeeping services. The room tariff was around RS. 7500 per day and rooms interior & accessories were very impressive, it was spacious with eye-catching interior, neat and comfortable with clean pillows, bedspreads and blankets and good working basic amenities and there was greenery view from the room. Located very convenient to the bus stand and the railway station and there was no problem to find out. Hotel appearance, exterior and interior were very good. They provided veg, non-veg food in order, the quality and taste of the food was very good and they provided food with buffet. A speciality of the hotel was eyeball game, disco and there were maintenance room separately. There was well-maintained swimming pool and indoor, outdoor games and no problem at check-in and check-out.
On a business trip to Salem, I stayed at The Radisson (formerly Park Plaza), which is easily found as it is located on the Bangalore highway . . The expansive lobby sets the tone for the feeling of space that is evident all over the hotel. The room, the restaurant, bar and passages are all built with a relaxing sense of space and you never feel cramped The room was clean and had all the mod cons --good air conditioning ,, a comfortable bed and sofa, a work table and chair, coffee/tea making facility and an electronic safe. The fridge/ minibar with Indian beer and whiskey and chocolates --it was a poleasany surprise to see Ferro Rocher! The bathroom was clean and had quality toiletries and a hair dryer. While the buffet breakfast at the restaurant, offered a rather big spread, the quality of the dishes, except a couple ,, was average. Most of the remaining stuff was pedestrian. As we were there for a conference, we dinner and lunch were also at the buffet and the comment for the breakfast applies here as well. May be the a la carte offerings are better. The service varied between average and good. The main problem was that they seemed a bit under trained and probably need to develop their language skills. However, most of them were youngsters and were enthusiastic and eager to please. The well stocked bar was a pleasant place to enjoy a drink. All in all a good business hotel priced well below what a similar place in a metro would charge.
Nice place and nice stay. We took single bed room in this hotel and found it very reasonable, calm and peaceful. The rooms are too spacious for this price and even AC was also good. I came here on the Pongal weekend, as many other hotels were full. The corridors are good, and the view of the sunrise through the mountains, from the terrace of this building is beautiful. Sited 2 km from each of railway station and New bus-stand, few shopping complexes at a walk able distance only. The cable TV was good and clear in the hotel room.
Everything was awesome in the hotel. I would not suggest anything to this hotel. I would recommend this hotel to upcoming travellers. There was no delay in check in and checkout at the booking office of the hotel. The room price was reasonable in the hotel. The appearance of the hotel was nice. The parking place was available in the hotel. I had visited this hotel alone for official tour.
