I am a devotee of Shirdi Sai and regular visitor to Shirdi temple. I prefer to stay at Kasi Annapurna Satram as it is more convenient.
1. It is located on the main road and near to the temple. Vehicles like auto, taxis are always available. So we can go to temple at any time. There is a taxi office located in the compound of the Satram. From there we can go to nearby places to visit temples and holiday resorts.
2. The rooms are well-furnished. Double cot and cot for guest are provided. Attached bath is neatly maintained. Hot water is being provided.
3. Meals are being provided to the occupants of rooms. Meal items are prepared with more hygienic and quality of food provided is best. Breakfast is being provided at nominal rates. Shampoo and soap are being provided to the guests. Towels also being provided for guests.
4. AC rooms are also available. The building looks rich. The design is good and all rooms are constructed in such a way that windows are constructed to receive sunlight and fresh air.
5. The hospitality is good. At reception counter computers are available and quick service is being provided. Security guard service is also there. Staff members are courteous and helpful. There is also a complaint book and is being managed by the in charge.
6. So, I recommend to visit Satram and have peaceful stay and enjoy the stay and have the blessings of Shirdi Sai.
The location of the hotel was good. It was a religious trip with family. We had a great experience in the hotel. The hotel was good and conveniently located. It was located inside the city and near to the railway station. The cleanliness of the hotel was very good. The staff were friendly and hygienic. The surrounding of the hotel was nice and clean. The service provided in the hotel was very good. We were happy and satisfied with the room allotted to us. The exterior as well as the interior of the hotel was nice. The food facility was there in the hotel and they served only veg food. We like the food quality and the quantity. The cost of the food was reasonable. The room was spacious, neat and clean. All the time cold and hot water facility was also provided to us. We didn’t ask for sightseeing trip. Other activities were not arranged by the hotel. I was satisfied with the hotel and the service. The hotel was value for money. It was a good hotel and I would like to recommend this hotel to others. I don’t want to give any suggestion for the hotel improvement.
Interior and exterior of the hotel was beautiful and it was modern style. Services were fully satisfactory. It was a religious trip with my family in October month 2014. They provided pick up and drop facility if we want. Location wise, the hotel was located near to the temple and also close to the station and market. I faced no problem to find this hotel. Overall, my experience was nice. Behaviour of the staff members was very cooperative. I had no problem during check-in and check-out facility and also they gave extra time for checked out. Rooms were also very nice and in fact staff of the hotel was cleaning the room daily. Pillow, bed sheet and other furnishing were in clean condition. All basic amenities were available like TV, fan, etc and they all were in working condition. City view was visible from the room. Washroom was also tidy and hot water facility was available there. I preferred normal food inside the hotel and it was delicious. Price of the food was fine. Relaxation activities were not available there. No suggestion for hotel improvement is required there. Money wise, the hotel was value for money. I have already recommended this hotel to my friends.
The hotel is an oasis in the middle of a hospitality desert. The whole village or town of Shirdi is dotted with make shift shelters for pilgrims doubling up as hotels. Some of them do not have any concept of hospitality and cater to a population, which does not usually visit hotels and are therefore, adjusting to a lot of compromises. The head of the reception is a very competent lady called Jayeeta Bhowmick. She is someone who can firmly put the staff in place and also make a guest feel welcome at the same time. Very impressive manager and also hospitality professional; it is obvious she carries a lot of experience and can easily run a whole outfit all by herself.
Best Experience: The rooms are awesome. We plan to go back and stay at this hotel again. The transport which is available free of cost to take you around town and visit the temple is a clean Qualis maintained well driven by a decent person. The pool is professionally done with a well-behaved person manning the life guard position. The lobby is matching up to metro standards and the cleanliness of the room is very well done and on time. Room service matches the Taj President in Bombay which is saying a lot. The all day dining restaurant is Raj Bhog. The food is completely vegetarian but superb. The care taken on each dish is stuff that legends are made of. If you want to be served a la carte then Mr Choutray will come and stand beside you and advise you on every dish. Amazing.
Worst Experience: One steward in particular does not fit into the hotel. He stands with his legs crossed leaning on the door when he speaks to a guest and his tone is bored and his eyes droopy. His word to the customer or promise has no value as he does not do as he is asked to. We asked him to deliver the invoice for the dinner to the room. He said he would, but he delivered it to the reception where we had to ask for the same during check out time. This was disgusting lackadaisical behaviour on the part of a hospitality industry professional. Business centre facilities are not very good but the staff tries to help with whatever they have.
Overall, hotel was good. There was no problem in reaching the hotel. I went by my own car there. Shopping mall or temple was nearby. Staff behaviour was good there. No problem in check-in and check-out time. No issues with the staff in services. Appearance wise, it was very good from inside and outside. Interiors and exteriors were nicely maintained. I took deluxe room there. Room allotted was spacious, neat and clean. Pillows, bed sheets, blankets, washroom or everything was neat and clean. AC, TV, geyser or everything was working properly. I stayed there only for one day. 24-hour hot and cold water facility was provided by them. I had food outside. Food price was good. Quality of food was also good. Parking area was provided by them. They did not arrange any sightseeing trip. I visited there with my family for Darshan in September. Finally, destination is value for money. The best part of the hotel was its cleanliness. Other visitors should stay there.
