Hotel Satyam is located in a strategic location. Uchi Pillayar Kovil is only 5 minutes from the hotel. You can easily get a bus to Chatiram Bus Stand where you can hop to one of the many buses to Sri Rangam or Samayapuram. The bus stops to and from Chatiram Bus Stand are a 5 minute walk from the hotel.
A. Strategic Location
B. Best Value for money (since Breakfast is also included).
C. Front Office and Service are good.
D. Cleanliness is really good.
E. Excellent Complimentary Breakfast
F. Restaurant food (South Indian Veg and Non-Veg) are really excellent. We (inc. Aged people) ate for 3 days and have no complaints.
A. Comfort rooms are really very small rooms (guess its 10 feet by 10 feet). It is completely OK of for a couple (though the cot/mattress is slightly smaller than an average queen size). I booked comfort room for 3 adults but we adjusted and we had a pleasant stay.
B. You can see the wear and tear in many rooms (on walls / AC units).
C. Quality of Coffee and Tea can be improved since it does not match to their breakfast / other food items.
Special thanks for GM, Restaurant Manager (excuse us since we did not get to know your names) and thanks for Mr. Karunanidhi, Mr. Soorya and Ms. Priya in the restaurant.
Special thanks to hotel security guard who helped us get a reliable / safe / affordable transport to go around many places in and around Trichy.
I often stay in this hotel and it was a business trip. Overall, experience in the hotel was good. The hotel was conveniently located and it was easy to find this hotel. The hotel is located near to the Bus Stand and this hotel was well-maintained. The staff service was very friendly and there were no delay at check-in and check-out. The interior and exterior of the hotel were well-maintained and the rooms were spacious and well-maintained with amenities like AC, TV and geyser facility in working condition. Complimentary breakfast was provided it was good in taste and quality with lots of varieties. There were no problem staying in this hotel and there were gym available. It was worth for the money what we spent there and it is a recommendable hotel for all the travellers.
Lovely experience of good room amenities, friendly staff and choice of food. Spacious lobby areas and quick access to transport add to the satisfying experience.
Best Experience: Quick access to public and taxi transport for travelling in and out round the clock was the best experience, of course not to forget excellent food at the Hotel restaurants.
Worst Experience: Billing officer was certainly a nice person but if he learns to give smile and talk in a friendly style when customers are paying bills to check out, just like all other reception staff who were nice, friendly and knew how to interact with clients, it will do good to all. An interactive hotel web site can enhance the impression of such an excellent hotel very much.
hello\'z i had stay in this hotel on tuesday [24-08-2010] morning [ check in time-5:00am] then we check out by same day at 9:47 pm to catch the Maq-Ms exp schd dep. 10:00 pm] i visited to trichy to see Viralimalai temple, malla kottai temple and samayapuram temple.this was my first visit to trichy.double bed room ac + x-tra bed they charge INR Rs 1200 Inlcusive of all taxes.but the receptionist asked to pay Rs 1500 [ i.e. they kept Rs 300 as advance lol ]
Best Experience: The Room Which i stayed was Neatly cleaned & generous toilets with More ventilations +there was an big balcony. My room was just renovated 1 week back with beautiful tiles flooring, wooden furnish cupboard, granite slab for keeping make up kits..the room was spacious.there was Window A/c when the a/c was on\'ed the whole room turned cooled within 5 mins.Fan was oscillating at an high speed.all switches were designed in black metal finish color.Room service was perfect.the food cost was nominal compared to Chennai but high compared to MADURAI .
Worst Experience: As this hotel is situated in fornt of main roads+near to central bustand all bus horns was annoying + many more rooms are under renovation and the drilling machines sounds would have burst our brains out.we stayed at 4th floor.Next to our rooms was under renovations lol.[ But the receptionist was kind and he gave us a room on third floor took take rest becoz we dint have a night sleep since we were travelling then we started to see these 3 temples by 9:00 am and came back to the room around 2:00 pm. then we felt tired took a sleep and the drilling mahcines was xxxx.then we took small sleep at 3rd floor as our things were in 4th floor then we woke up at around 7:00 pm hence the renovation jobs were closed by 6:30 pm.
