Drove down from Bangalore with my wife for a 3 day vacation.Had heard quite good reviews of the resort from my friends who had gone there a couple of years ago, but wasn\'t too sure what to expect because that was a strictly guy\'s only trip. Be warned that the drive on to the actual resort area is rather steep but that adds to the charm of the place.The location was beautiful and the property is clean and well maintained .The food was superb ( its a buffet ) . I can vouch for the tastiness of the veg side and my wife for the non - veg side.Breakfast is complementary and they throw in any snacks you want before lunch or tea if you ask politely. The staff are extremely friendly and courteous. I have rarely seen staff at any resort going out of their way to help you in so many little ways. The resort is ideal if you are looking at a few days seclusion from the city amid calm and scenic surroundings.The resort had the best scenic spots that we saw in the 3 days that we spent in Wayanad The rooms were comfortable if a little basic.The bathrooms were excellent and clean.The cottages have a nice wooden sit out where you can lie down and soak in the view. Overall a good experience and well worth the money.

Best Experience: The food was good and the service was fantastic.They even drove into town to get us some snacks and \' refreshments\' even though it was after sundown.

Worst Experience: I would have liked to have a TV in the room.There is a TV in the community center as well a net connection there.

It was a nice place and the overall trip was gr8 !

Location is superb. Staff are helpful and courteous. Cottages are simple but nice. It is around 3.5 KM from main road so you need your own vehicle or sync up with resort to pick you up.

Best Experience: Staff specially, Santhosh is really helpful. They took care of all our needs. I got a call at 12 the day I was to check in to find what time I will be reaching.

Worst Experience: Nothing worst. Some suggestions to management though. Have more options for food and more activities like nature walk, campfire etc.

Horrible experience. The whole atmosphere was so scary that we ran away from that place after staying for a whole day:). The problem was not only with the resort but with the Weather as well. It poured the whole day because of which we didnt have any other option than staying at the resort. Lots of insects all over the place hypnotize you with their unique music which is no less than irritating. The stay would have been better had the rain didnt spoiled the ambience. It was dark throughout the day.

Best Experience: Quite a decent room.

Worst Experience: 1) No one cared for you. You need to run to the dining to order for any food or beverages. 2) The resort charges are exorbitant and are not worth. 3) The way to the place is really horrible. Seemed like were entering some prison in an uninhabited area(Jurassic Park). 4) Nothing great about the food. As part of non-veg, they only serve Fish curry. The dining hall had some smell coming out of it because of which it was not possible to dine at that place, we have to get it to our rooms. 5) We had full two days of planned trip to that place but cancelled the Trip after staying for a day. We were charged for 50% of the amount which was not expected. There was no crowd at all except for a couple. Also, they should understand that no one would like to stay in a place like this when its raining except for honeymoon couples ;) 6) The pond was very dirty.
