There is no dearth of things to do in Adelaide. From a tour to the wine regions or wildlife parks to visiting the Adelaide Aquatic Centre for an aquatic experience, Adelaide keeps everyone involved. The Glenelg tram might be availed to reach a nearby beach.
A tour to the Haigh's Chocolate factory provides free samples of Australian chocolates. Tours can be taken on any day from Monday to Saturday at 11:00 am, 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm against bookings. A tour to Coopers Brewery, a family owned outlet, is an experience too.
The Fleurieu peninsula is good for watching whales, fairy penguins and other aquatic animals. For entertainment, there is the Adelaide Casino on North Terrace while the Adelaide Botanic Gardens in the heart of the city is good for picnics and ball games. The Bicentennial Conservatory is an important attraction too.
Adelaide is known for its clean beaches like the West Beach, Henley Beach, Semaphore, Grange, Brighton, Glenelg and Port Noarlunga. The Adelaide Oval is a famous cricket ground worth visiting, as are the "Football Park" and Norwood Oval.
Other events of note in Adelaide include the Annual Adelaide Fringe Clipsal race, the Biannual Adelaide festival of Arts and the Tour Down Under international cycling race, among others.
