Hili Archaeological Gardens is a popular sightseeing location in the city and houses an archaeological site and public gardens. This place is home to settlements that date back to the Bronze Age and Iron Age, ranging from 2,500 to 400 B.C. It also houses ancient tombs. Other excavated and restored pieces are featured at the Al Ain Museum.
Expedition at this site began in the late 1970s, while the round mud-brick towers present in the premises were built around the third millennium B.C. This site is an ideal place for visitors who are keen on getting an insight of the history of the country. This is because the place contains evidences of inhabitation that date back to the second millennium B.C.
