Comments: Nusa Lembongan is a great choice in Indonesia, especially if you are looking for a quiet, peaceful holiday. You can rent a scooter and explore the green island, catch a shack meal at Dream Beach, and go down 50 meters underground into a cave house. Owned by Made Byasa, this underground house was built using only a hammer, chisel and intuition as guidance. It took 15 years to complete this incredible labyrinth, which includes a bedroom, dining room, kitchen, bathroom and a sacred meditation room. If you are going down there, be ready to crawl on all fours, cave woman style!!! Nusa Lembongan is also one of the best diving sites in the world with a spectacular coral reef and aquatic life.
What made the holiday even better was the resort we chose. Here's the thing about Bali hotels - all of them look so exotic, that it becomes tough to choose one over another. So I did my bit of extra research and finally hit the submit button for Batu Karang. This was truly paradise. Great staff. Eco-friendly settings. Breath-taking views from the rooms. And the rooms... so beautiful that you'll never want to checkout. Oh, don't miss the egg shaped outdoor bathtub with a view to the magnificent turquoise blue ocean. I'll let the pictures speak for itself. And yes, if you are wondering how expensive it was - it costed approx 700 USD for 3 nights/4 days on a special package rate.
