Beautiful Destination for a relaxed holiday. To see it fully you need at least 10 days- Ripley's , Horror Show,Undersea worls, Pattaya, Coral Reefs,Golden Buddhas , Palaces- endless list of wonders.
Food, sight-seeing and shopping
I was not too thrilled by the foods- a bit on the smelly side. The fruits were all guey, esp the Durian- our fridge smelled for days . I thought it was akin to our JackfruitThe rice & noodles were good. Mostly had noodles. Sight seeing was amazing Shopping deals- awesome. Enjoyed swimming at Pattaya. Went to a bar not the topless type.Only singing & drinks type.My daughter, a singer took her chance to sing with the troupe.
Some quaint things I noticed-- Two wheeler drivers have their headlights on during the day-, Taxis are pink & other shocking colours. Noone honks their horns- they politely wait when you cross the road.Most shops down their shutters at 7 pm.Not much talkers- thaiis There are yellow scooters who take u where u want for a fee- ride pillion.
