Barlig is a Mountain Province that can be reached from Batad by hiking. The hike to this destination involves a day of ascent followed by 2 days of descent. The hiking trail connects Batad Junction in Ifugao to Sitio Macalana in Barlig. The hike is considered as the toughest Cordillera traverses. As a part of the hike, one is also required to scale Mount Amuyao.
