Travelling to Cambodia

Citizens of certain countries like Britain, Australia, EU, Canada and USA require visa for Cambodia. The Tourist Visa allows individuals stay for up to 30 days. It can be extended for another thirty days, after a payment of $25 at the immigration office. Visa on arrival on the other hand is applicable for thirty days only.

Indians can acquire a visa on arrival in Cambodia. This visa is given at the international airports of the country. The international airports that provide visa on arrival are Pochentong Airport in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap International Airport near Angkor Wat.

Other international entry points include border areas like Koh Kong, Poi Pet and Bavet. Tourists travelling by road from other South-east Asian countries can get visa on arrival at these entry points on the border.   
Documents required
It takes around three business days to get a tourist visa for Cambodia. The documents required for getting a visa comprise passport with six months validity, a recent passport size photograph (JPEG or PNG digital format if applying online) and a credit card with Visa or MasterCard (online application).

Other documents include a photocopy of the passport, cash or bank cheque and self-addressed envelope. A visa on arrival can be obtained by paying $20 and tourist visa obtained through the embassy or internet costs $25. A print-out of the online visa is required while entering the country.
