Calthorpes House

Built in 1927, Calthorpes farmhouse is preserved with its original furnishings, old photographs, household appliances and personal treasures that depict family life in the earlier days of Canberra. Guided tours at Calthorpes' House can be taken by the tourists.

A visit would reveal the time when Harry and Dell Calthorpe lived in the house with their two daughters Del and Dawn. The collections of the house are unique and include every little thing like hatpins, receipts from the local pharmacy, furniture and furnishings and Pianola.

Timing: 11:00 am - 3:00 pm (Tuesday to Friday)
              1:00 pm – 4:00 pm (Saturday to Sunday)
             Closed (Every Monday, Good Friday and Christmas Day)

Admission fee: $7 (adults)
                          $15 (family)
