Located some 5 km towards the west of the town, Mae Fah Luang Art & Cultural Park has lakes, Shan-style ponds and a barge.
It was originally known as the Rai Mae Fah Luang and was first started as the office of the Thai Hill Crafts Foundation. Under the Princess Mother, it became a place for schooling for the village youth.
Built by the Princess Mother in the Lanna style, the building today has artefacts from the Thai culture on display. Also present is the Haw Kaew with an exhibition of teakwood and botanical collection.
