Other public transportation
The local means of transport available in Chiang Rai are tuk-tuks, samlors and pedalos. Tuk-tuk is a three-wheeled cart. The pedalo is a three-wheeled bicycle.
The fare of tuk-tuk and pedalo is nearly the same but tourists should negotiate the fare since this is highly variable. Samlors are not suitable for uphill rides and can be a little noisy.
