During my holiday trip, stayed in this hotel with family. Room size was quite big compared to the room standards of Hong Kong hotels. Front office staff was very nice. Room service was very good and prompt. Hotel location is very good. A good place for visiting tourist attractions. Free Shuttle bus service up to Kuwloon metro station for going to airport is available at 20 minutes interval. Food courts and shopping malls at easy approach.
Holiday Inn Shifu, Guangzhou is a very nice hotel property in Guangzhou. The reception area is very nice and the rooms are exceptionally good. There is also a branch of ICBC Bank in the hotel building. However, the problem with this hotel is its location. The hotel is situated in a kind of a flea market type of very dirty and shabby zone. The nearest underground subway station is about 15 minutes’ walking distance. However, once needs to pass through narrow and extremely crowded path with very pungent smell emanating from certain shops lined along the path. The hotel doesn’t provide complimentary breakfast. Breakfast is available at about CNY 95 per person which is extremely expensive. The spread in the breakfast is not very good since quite a few items are pork based and cannot be consumed by people of certain faith, who perhaps make the biggest number of business purpose visitors to Guangzhou and hence, the restaurant should keep this in mind.
All in all, I'd say that this hotel can be rated OK, but not very high.

My husband and I were traveling to Beijing in last June. I discovered a [url=http://www.chilodge.com:e4481]website[/url:e4481] while I was searching information of China. The website looks quite good and I had tried to book my hotel room and found that which is very user friendly. Finally, I had easy to get the confirmation of my hotel room.
