One of the famous local products of Hua Hin is the pha phim kommaphat or cotton with prints. This product is sold in the market by the yard and the finished product of the cotton with Khommaphat print is colourful and can be used to make wraps, shirts, toys, handkerchiefs, and also ornamental pieces like fans, pillows, bags, etc.
In the year 1964, the Handicraft Centre was set up at Ban Khao Tao and people can find good quality hand-woven cotton here. In 2003, this centre received acknowledgement registration for superior quality of handicraft products.
Hand-woven cotton is available for purchasing in various forms like bathing cloths, and sarongs in Yok Dok print and even in larger fabric pieces such as bed sheets.
