The Hua Hin Vintage Car Rally is an annual event sponsored by the Tourism Authority, Hoteliers and the Vintage Car Club of Thailand. There is a parade of old cars starting from the Sofitel Central in Bangkok and ending at the Sofitel Central near Hua Hin Resort.
It is held in December each year with passengers, drivers and cars decorated in the 1920s style, readying for the parade covering 225 km. The merry making at Sofitel draws to a close with a party like in the 1920s fitting into the Victorian era.
