Hua Hin has a temperate climate with a steady temperature of 25.6° Celsius in January and 29.9° Celsius in April. Though the temperature remains almost constant, there is great variation in rainfall with the average in January being about 4.1 mm which can go up to 200 mm between October and December.
The best time to visit this resort is from December to February.
The trip can also be made during monsoons as there is sometimes a break in rains during the day time and the rainfall always lasts for a very short period. As soon as the rain stops, the sky becomes blue and clear.
The advantage in visiting Hua Hin during the rainy season is that the place remains less populated and rates of hotels are low. It is advisable to avoid April and May because at this time the weather is comparatively hot and the temperature remains around 34° Celsius. But, the most celebrated festivals of Thailand take place during this time.
