Hua Hin, Thailand’s seaside resort can’t be reached via airways from Bangkok but is well connected by railways. It takes about 6 hours to reach Hua Hin by train from Bangkok.
Some trains halt at Hua Hin and pass the railway station of Bang Sue and Hua Lamphong 10 times per day. The time taken is about 4 hours. These trains travel between 7.45 pm to 10.50 pm.
There are only two trains that stop at Cha-am. No direct transportation is available from the airport to Hua Hin. The best option is to take a public bus. The bus terminal is at the southern part of Bangkok and provides hourly services. Otherwise, visitors can take the bus going to South Thailand.
To reach Bangkok, travellers can avail bus, train or flight services since most roads, trains and flights link Bangkok. The Suvarnabhumi Airport is the main international airport of Bangkok. It is connected by regular flights to Europe, Asia, USA and Australia.
The Airport is serviced by airlines like Thai Airways International, which is also the national carrier, Air India, Air Asia, Cathay Pacific, Singapore Airlines, Lufthansa, Qantas, etc.
The best time to visit this resort is from December to February when the temperature is comparatively low and there is very little rainfall.
