The Na Muang 1 Waterfall situated near the Na Muang 2 Waterfall is 18 metres high and has a swimming area with natural rock formations that end in steep sided stairways.
Elephant treks or organized tours can be taken to this waterfall. It can also be reached by a 30 minute walk from the Na Muang 2 waterfall. During December and January the falls swell up due to the rains.
It is situated 10 kilometres south from Nathon at Ban Thurian and is a popular picnic destination. There are restaurants and souvenir shops near the waterfall.
