Aow Leuk Bay is located in the south western part of Koh Tao and is known for Mushroom corals, Staghorn corals and long-spinned Black Sea Urchins. Also known as Deep Water bay, the Aow Leuk Bay is a popular spot for novice divers.
The bay is home to snappers, parrotfish, wrasse, soldierefish, squirrelfish, snake eels, bannerfish and yellowfin goatfish. Also look out for turtles, mole cowries, triggers, morays, and angelfish.
The 200 metre long bay is surrounded by steep hills making it accessible only through boat from the rocky bay. The beach offers basic accommodation and has one restaurant.
