The Mae Haad Bay lies on the west coast and has a fisherman’s village, a post office, money exchange bureaus, health centres and a government office.
The southern end has resorts which are centrally located and are not far from shopping and night life spots. The place is a hub for travel agents, supermarkets, bike rentals, email services and restaurants.
