The interiors of the hilly inlands of Krabi are a nature lover’s paradise, with caves, waterfalls, rocky outcrops, streams, rock pools and other ecological hot spots in abundance. Taking a guided tour to the national parks is one option, but the best spots are off the beaten track, and hiking and trekking is the way to reach them.
The Khao Phanom Bencha National Park offers some of the best routes for trekking. There are two trekking routes to the peak of the Khao Phanom Bencha. The summit of Khao Phanom Bencha offers views of Krabi, its routes offer a glimpse to the rich flora and fauna of Krabi.
One can also go for Than Bokkhorani National Park for trekking. This Park includes several natural trails, waterfalls and mangrove forests along with mountain caves and limestone islands.
