Places of interest include the KL tower with a revolving restaurant, the twin Petronas towers, the palace, the war memorial etc plus the new modern city of Putrajaya just half an hours drive by car.This is a must visit place too. There are a variety of foods available for everyone. Fast food outlets like KFC, MAC,etc.to Chinese,Thai,Malaysian...endless choices.Add to that many street food joints near major tourist places. We were amazed to visit the Times Square mall.It is really huge- ten floors of shopping and intertainment,and two towers upto 44 floors of hotel rooms with great views. The top of the mall between the two hotel towers has a big swimming pool. If you love shopping you can spend days just window shopping in many such malls.But for fun and games you can become a kid too in the various theme parks in KL.

Huge multi story shopping malls with theme parks inside,multi theaters,variety of restaurents etc.A vide choice of tranport with mono rail,metro rail, buses and taxies available almost everywhere. You can plan a trip to Genting to have experience of casinos with theme parks and also stay at the world's largest hotel with over 6000 rooms !!!Also have a thrilling ride in the longest cable car at Genting.A chinese temple near Genting is also a must see place.

Best to land in KL airport, take a taxi ( apx 100 RM) to city center.Other sight see or shopping can be by various tranport option or on foot. It is very safe to move around in both KL in Genting. We found that exchange rates vary from place to place hence the best choice is to either take RM or convert US dollars at bank counters.Shops in malls offer very low exchange rates.
