Laman Padi Museum

Laman Padi, literally meaning the ‘Rice Garden’ is a unique museum dedicated to create awareness about various aspects of paddy cultivation and harvesting.

Established in the year 1999, the museum has on display a wide array of artefacts, tools, photographs, etc., explaining the history, heritage and evolution of rice cultivation in Malaysia. Ensconced with paddy fields, scare crows and buffaloes, the museum has the look and feel of a traditional Malay village.

The garden has a restaurant serving authentic Malay rice delicacies. Apart from being a place to unwind in the midst of lush greenery, Laman Padi is a place popular among agro-tourism lovers.
