Bus services are available but they are few and far between. Only Kuah and Pantai Cenang have regular bus services.
Taxis are available and can be hired from any part throughout the day. Drivers don’t usually follow the metre system and fares are decided according to the destination. A short taxi ride can cost something around RM 15.
Renting a motorbike/scooter is another option. These can be rented for RM 25 on a daily basis during peak season. Wearing a helmet is mandatory while riding a motorbike/scooter. Bicycles are also available on rent for around RM 12 per day.
