Maldives has an abundance of diving and cruising spots. The island country is flocked by tourists from all around the world for enjoying water and beach activities. Activities like swimming, snorkelling, fishing, dolphin watching, night diving, underwater photography and surfing are popular.
Water activities like skiing, kite boarding and scuba diving are also popular. These atolls are all coral reefs, rich in marine life like manta rays and sharks and some ship wrecks also. Visitors can also opt for dolphin and whale watching and fishing.
Most Maldivian resorts have spas. The spa treatments are luxuriating and are inclusive of scrub and massage. Some resorts also have Kid's Club in their premises and offer activities like table tennis, board games, billiards and magic shows.

Hi,
I want to go to Maldives in the month of Dec say 15th or so. I wanna know the following
- How is the climate expectecd to be?
- If Dec is not the right time, when can I go to Maldives. I like cooler climates but not rainy.
- I am a vegetarian. Where can I get good veg food?
- I have heard that the lodginf is very expensive there. Are there not budget places which are safe for single female travellers?
