Bahay Tsinoy is a museum in Manila that showcases the life of the Chinese population residing in Philippines. The exhibits span from the Philippine prehistory and ice age, when tribes from Southern China reached the islands.
A prominent exhibit of the museum is the Ah Tay Bed designed by the Chinese artisan, Eduardo Ah Tay. The museum also traces the role played by the Chinese population in the Spanish economy during the Spanish colonial era.
Martyr's Hall at the museum is dedicated to the Chinese soldiers, who had fought against the Japanese occupation. The Ceramics Collection displays Chinese ceramics, dating from the 10th to the 17th centuries that were unearthed in Philippines.
The museum also contains a hologram that traces the transformation of early tribes from Southern China to the modern-day Tsinoy or Tsinong-Pinoy.
