Negombo Hotels

There are four and three star accommodations as well as budget hotels in Negombo. The budget hotels in Negombo are in the form of lodges, guesthouses and small shacks located by the beach.

Most of the budget hotels of the area lie in the Ethukala area of the city. However, there are some high end hotels also in Ethukala. The Carron Place and the Lewis Place have high end hotels of the city. Negombo Road also has many luxury properties.

There are no international hotel chains in Negombo. There are only stand alone hotels present in the city. Some of the notable names of the area are Airport Garden Hotel, Blue Oceanic Beach Hotel, Dolphin Club Hotel and Hotel Sunset Beach among various others.

The hotels of the area do not have business facilities, since the city is not frequented by business travellers. Most of the high end hotels of the area have spas, swimming pools as well as a Jacuzzi. They also provide diving equipment and swimming equipment on rent. There are no such facilities in the budget hotels of the area.

The peak season of Negombo is during the months of December to April when the beaches of the city are open. Most of the accommodations are booked during this period and the price of accommodation is the highest.

The properties located close to the beach quote a higher price on weekends than weekdays, while the properties located closer to the airport are generally higher priced than the rest of the properties in the city.
