Hang gliding is a popular activity among travellers. One can hang glide in the Abel Tasman National Park. There are trained pilots who take participants on a basic hang gliding tour and cross country flying.
The hang gliding tours start at NZD 95 per person for a 15 minute flight and go up to NZD 290 per person per hour for the grand tour.
