Pattaya is a very lively city. Getting local transportation is easy, but they are not so cheap. Tuk tuk seem to charge hefty, when you compare to Bangkok.

Noon nooch village is a must do.... The experience with animals there is not to be missed.

You can take a bus direct from Bangkok airport. Its easy and cheap for 124 THB per person. And local transport is good by tuk tuk or taxis. Negotiate first.
