The Institute of Marine Science Aquarium and Museum is also known as the Bangsaen Institute of Marine Science (BIMS).
The main aim of the museum is to render a protective approach to marine life and help in research. Affiliated to the Burapha University, the institute and museum is located near the Bangsaen Beach.
The Bangsaen Institute offers modern research facilities and services. It also displays underwater marine environment and concentrates on the different aquatic species.
Originally founded by a grant from the Japanese Government in 1982, it presently comprises a huge collection of fish, marine vegetation and crustaceans, most of which are local to Thailand.

What is the chief attraction in Bangkok than the beach . How for is it from Pattaya? Is 3 days sufficient to cover the whole place. And will i find any bus services from Pattaya to Bangkok?
