Kalim Bay is located to the north of Patong beach. The beach is not ideal for swimming as there are a few rocks and a coral reef. The reef is exposed at low tide and one can see locals collecting crabs and shrimp.
The rainy season makes Kalim Bay a great surf spot at high tide with some really long rides. However, surfers should be aware of sharp rocks and the reef below.
There are a lot of accommodation facilities in Kalim Bay. Even during peak season, one can find accommodations easily. There are also some good restaurants and bars lining the beachfront.
What are the must see attractions of Phuket? I am planning to go there in the month of July. I want to know if it will be good. Or will there be any fest or something in Phuket any part of the year? And let me know of some luxurious stay in Phuket.

In continuation with my posts on Bangkok and Pattaya, I will be staying at Phuket for 5 days. Which I think is ample time to cover a lot of places around Phuket. Please let me know which are these places we could visit and what are the sightseeing attractions in Phuket.
