Located towards the southern end of Phuket is Kata Beach, a swimming destination. The beach is quieter than Patong but is equipped with all modern facilities.
With a palm-lined beach, restaurants, active but not wild nightlife and accommodation options close to the beach, Kata Beach is one of the sought after tourist spots.
May to October is the time where surfers flock to catch Kata's waves and from November to April the beach is alive with sunbathers.
Water sports facilities and accommodations of different budgets are available. The seabed here is rich with coral reefs and other aquatic life forms. The beach is divided into Kata Yai and Kata Noi.
What are the must see attractions of Phuket? I am planning to go there in the month of July. I want to know if it will be good. Or will there be any fest or something in Phuket any part of the year? And let me know of some luxurious stay in Phuket.
Hi,
In continuation with my posts on Bangkok and Pattaya, I will be staying at Phuket for 5 days. Which I think is ample time to cover a lot of places around Phuket. Please let me know which are these places we could visit and what are the sightseeing attractions in Phuket.
Thanks
