Khao Phra Thaeo National Park, occupying an area of around 22 sq km is located on the northern part of the island.
It is a rainforest conservation inhabited by many species of wild animals such as langurs, barking deer, bears, wild boar, and gibbons. The park is also home to more than one hundred species of birds.
The vegetation consists of huge trees, creepers and climbers. The park has two waterfalls and a trekking path 8 km long.
It is better to hire a guide while going on a trek. The Ton Sai Waterfall is situated near the entrance. Also located within the park premises is a Gibbon Rehabilitation centre.
What are the must see attractions of Phuket? I am planning to go there in the month of July. I want to know if it will be good. Or will there be any fest or something in Phuket any part of the year? And let me know of some luxurious stay in Phuket.

In continuation with my posts on Bangkok and Pattaya, I will be staying at Phuket for 5 days. Which I think is ample time to cover a lot of places around Phuket. Please let me know which are these places we could visit and what are the sightseeing attractions in Phuket.
