Reaching Phuket by train is a little difficult. The nearest rail station is Phun Phin station in the Surat Thani province, 100 km north of Phuket. Minibuses connect the trains to the island with an hour and a half journey for TBH 250.
Usually while booking a ticket from Bangkok the bus journey is also included in it. It takes nearly 16 hours to reach the island.
What are the must see attractions of Phuket? I am planning to go there in the month of July. I want to know if it will be good. Or will there be any fest or something in Phuket any part of the year? And let me know of some luxurious stay in Phuket.

In continuation with my posts on Bangkok and Pattaya, I will be staying at Phuket for 5 days. Which I think is ample time to cover a lot of places around Phuket. Please let me know which are these places we could visit and what are the sightseeing attractions in Phuket.
