Trekking tours and excursions are possible from Pokhara to the surrounding mountain ranges One of the most popular tours in the region is the hiking tour to the Annapurna Range. The Range is located 28 km from the Phewa Lake and there are half day and full day hiking tours to the range. The approximate cost for a half day hiking tour to Annapurna range is NPR 5,000 per person.
Treks are also available to Sarankot from Pokhara. It is a one hour trail from Pokhara to Sarankot and approximately costs NPR 2,000 per person.
Tours and excursions are also available to Chitwan National Park from Pokhara. Chitwan National Park is the first national park of the country and lies 6 hours away from Pokhara. There are two day as well as three day tours available to Chitwan National park. The approximate cost of a two day tour to Chitwan National park is NPR 20,000 per person.
Tours are also available to the towns of Biratnagar and also the capital city of Kathmandu from Pokhara.
