Pokhara has a mild weather for most part of the year. The summer months of May to August see the temperature hovering around 25-35⁰ Celsius. However, the winter months can be harsh here. The temperature during the winter months is known to reach the freezing point, although, usually, it ranges from 5-15⁰ Celsius.
The city of Pokhara receives a lot of rainfall throughout the year and the approximate rainfall in a year crosses 4,000 mm. It is best to carry an umbrella, water proof clothing as well as an extra pair of clothes when travelling in Pokhara.
The best time to visit the city is during the months of February to April, when the place does not receive much rainfall and the temperature stays at around 18-20⁰ Celsius.
