Kota Lukut is a historical place located close to Lukut town, which lies near Port Dickson. It dates back to 1847. It offers a bird’s eye view of the town of Lukut.
The place derives its name from the word ‘Kota’ which means ‘fort’ in Malay and ‘Lukut’ which is the town located nearby.
The place is famous as the site where the ruins of the ship Nassau were found. The ship took part in the Melaka siege. The Kota Lukut has only the walls and the well now. The moat in the middle of complex is dried up now.
