Praha Hlavni Nadrazi is the main termination point for international trains arriving in Prague. Located in Hlavni Nadrazi, three blocks north-east of Wenceslas Square, the station has a Czech Railways (Ceske Drahy) info centre at the southern end of the main concourse that offers information on international train services.

On level 3 at windows 26 to 36, international tickets are sold. Built between 1901 and 1909, and designed by the Czech architect Josef Fanta, the station was extended by a new terminal building.

An international transport hub, the station handles services to Munich and Nuremberg. It is the termination point of Bavaria-Bohemia Regio-Express trains and EuroCity/EuroNight trains coming from Berlin, Dresden and Hamburg. Long distance trains from Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, The Netherlands, Serbia and Croatia also arrive at this station.

Czech Railways (Ceske Drahy) Class 680 Pendolino trains and Regional trains from Brno, Plzen, Ceske Budejovice and Olomouc also arrive at this station. Prague Metro's Line C also uses this station. Czech Railways (Ceske Drahy) operates domestic trains to the city.

By an express bus departing every 30 minutes during the day, the city centre can be reached from the station within 25 to 40 minutes. Taxi stands are located outside the station.  

In the station, there is a left luggage counter, which is open 24 hours and automatic large luggage lockers. The station also has exchange offices, ATMs, tourist and train information desks, fast food stalls and restaurants, cafes and retail shops.

Other train stations in Prague
Trains from Berlin, Budapest and Vienna, terminate at Praha Holesovice that is located in Nadrazi Holesovice, on the northern side of the city. Praha Smichov in Smichovske Nadrazi, on the western side of the river, also serves as a termination point of international trains. Praha Hlavni Nadrazi and Praha Holesovice is the termination point of trains arriving from Bratislava.

Praha Hlavni Nadrazi and Masarykovo Nadrazi, two blocks to the north, act as the termination stations of domestic trains. Domestic trains also stop at Praha Holesovice and Praha-Smichov. Praha-Holesovice Station is the termination point of trains arriving from Berlin and Budapest.

Praha Holesovice is located north of the city centre. Prague's second largest station, it can be reached after crossing three stops by metro from Hlavni Nadrazi. The station is the termination point of trains coming from Dresden, Berlin, Hamburg and other cities of southern Europe. The station has left luggage lockers, an internet cafe, ATMs and exchange offices.

Located at Smichov, Praha Smichov can be reached from the city centre by metro within 15 minutes. From the station, trains depart for Karlstejn, Plzen and Pisek. Praha Masarykovo Nadrazi is located in the city centre, near Namesti Republiky and Florenc Bus Station. From this station, trains depart for Kolin, Kutna Hora and Hradec Kralove. The oldest railway station in Prague is Masarykovo Nadrazi.

Trains in Prague
From the city, long distance trains operate for Frankfurt, Munich, Vienna, Berlin, Budapest, Warsaw and Moscow. Regio-Express and EuroCity/EuroNight trains also serve the destination.

Long distance trains also run to the city from France, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania. Czech Railways (Ceske Drahy) Class 680 Pendolino trains provide passenger service via state owned rail tracks.

Rychlik (R), Spesny (Sp) and Express (Ex) trains also connect the city with other European cities. Osobni (Os), SuperCity (SC), EuroCity (EC) and InterCity (IC) also serve the destination. Intercity (IC) and EuroCity (EC) trains only stop in major cities. Local Osobní (Os) trains travel to the smaller villages.
