Travelling to Queenstown

The Queenstown bus station is located near Lake Waikapitu. All the buses depart from this station. The bus station has various facilities like ATM machines, foreign exchange counters and drinking water besides small eating joints. Buses to other cities, as well as tourist attractions of the place, also depart from here.

There are taxis available outside the bus station.

There are various operators operating buses in Queenstown. The Intercity Coachlines, which is the national bus carrier of New Zealand, operates regular buses to Queenstown from the airport as well as the neighbouring cities.

Buses to Queenstown are available from Christchurch, Dunedin and Te Anau. Newmans Coachline is another operator which operates regular buses to the city.
