| Khor Kalba Conservation Reserve |

Khor Kalba Conservation Reserve, the oldest mangrove forest in Arabia, is located in the southern part of Kalba. A popular tourist destination, this forest is famous for birdwatching, especially during fall and spring migration. One can witness different and rare species of bird like the white necked Kingfisher, which is a breeding occupant. In addition, tourists can also view booted warblers, along with reef herons.
This conservation reserve also provides visitors the facility of hiring boats. One can hire these boats from local fishermen, living nearby. Besides, tourists also get the opportunity to go on a narrated canoe trip.
