Travelling to Siem Reap

Regular flights to Siem Reap operate from places like Bangkok, Phnom Penh, Ho Chi Minh City, Singapore and Vientiane. The airport is mainly serviced by Siem Reap Airways that operates daily flights between Siem Reap and Phnom Penh.

The Siem Reap Ferry Dock is located at Chong Khneas, close to the Phnom Krom hill. Cars and motor taxis are available at the dock to ferry passengers to the town. Daily ferry service operates between Siem Reap and Phnom Penh. The services are available everyday at 7:00 a.m. from the ferry dock at Chong Khneas to Phnom Penh Port.

Bus services are available daily between Siem Reap and Phnom Penh and the journey takes around 5 to 7 hours. The bus services are available between 6.30 am and 12.30 pm. The service is operated by the Phnom Penh Public Transport Co.  

It is also possible to reach Siem Reap by overland route from Bangkok. From Bangkok Northern Terminal, an air-conditioned public bus leaves for Aranyaprathet. It is a 5 km ride from Aranyaprathet by tuk-tuk or bus to reach the Cambodia border.

A train service also operates between Bangkok and Aranyaprathet that leaves at 5:55 am and arrives at 12:00 p.m.
